ClearTech® is a completely new lamp technology that was originally developed by LTI, Ltd. of Hungary in combination with SunMaster® here in the USA. It isn't just stronger, or better, or longer lived than regular lamps. It is a completely different kind of tanning lamp technology, which makes comparing it to other lamps difficult, even other SunMaster lamps. ClearTech lamps use a completely different glass and phosphors, and produce a completely different spectrum than regular lamps. They are noticably brighter, and put out well over 30% more total usable UV than any other lamp at the same wattage. The initial response from salon owners, including reorders, was so strong that we went through 6 months worth of inventory in less than 1 month. In short, ClearTech technology makes lamps last up to 1600 hours at maximum output. A ClearTech with 2000 hours on it will still produce more UVA and UVB than a regular lamp. While they cost more than regular lamps, they cost less PER SESSION, so they represent a smart choice for salon owners who are interested in the total cost of running their salon. The intense bronzing action will also insure that your clients are completely pleased, on the first or 1400th hour of lamp life. If you try them, you will never go back to generic replacements again.

ClearTech 20
100W EHO™(Extra High Output) lamp in F59, F71 and F73 sizes (F72 soon). Designed to be legally compatible with the most common HO (high output) Wolff® lamps, and suitable for replacement in all regulated states. High UVB, yet more UVA than even regular RUVA lamps. In a 24-32 lamp bed, will actually time out in the 15 minute area, even though they are compatible with 20 minute beds. Initial tests show lifespan to be at least 1400 hours, and up to 1600 hours, depending on electronics used.
ClearTech 120R
100W to 120W RUVA lamp in F71 and F73 sizes. It is a "hot rodded" version of the ClearTech 20, using the same phosphors but different internals. RUVA (built in reflector) in each lamp, 180 degrees, so it can be used in most beds with as few as 24 lamps. Designed with a cathode/anode set that will perform equally well with 100W, 105W or 120W. Can be used in 160W system, but it is not recommended and will shorten life. Normal life is anticipated to be 1000 to 1100 hours for maximum output. Session times will be in the 10 to 12 minute range, without sacrificing UVA bronzing. The output on this lamp far exceeds any anticipated compatability with any existing lamps, thus can't be used in regulated states unless the bed came with this lamp originally.
ClearTech 200R (coming soon)
160W-200W VHOR in F71 only. Based on the best selling ClearTech 20, with the addition of a full VHOR reflector and 200W rated cathode/anode sets for EXTREME performance. Due to the UV output, this lamp is not legally compatible with ANY existing lamp. It will work perfectly in any 160w-200w system that requires F71/FR71 sized lamps. Anticipated life is 900-1000 real world hours.
ClearTech VHO (coming soon)
160W-200W VHO in F71 only. Based on the best selling ClearTech 20, with A 200W rated cathode/anode sets for EXTREME performance. Due to the UV output, this lamp is not legally compatible with ANY existing lamp. It will work perfectly in any 160w-200w system that requires F71/FR71 sized lamps. Anticipated life is 1200 real world hours.
ClearTech 200C (coming soon)
160W-200W VHOR in F71 only. The serious VHOR replacement lamp for those with Cosmolux VHR® lamps in the canopy or complete bed. A completely different phosphor mix than our other ClearTech lamps, with over 60% more UVA
Designed from the ground up for high volume salons, with special cathode/anode sets that resist overheating, giving the lamp longer life than any other VHOR lamp on the market. Anticipated life is 900-1000 real world hours.
ClearTech lamps cost a little more, but with up to twice the life and 30% to 100% more total UV than generic lamps, they are the best value. New technology, new ideas, from SunMaster®.
