|ClearTech® is a completely new lamp technology that was originally developed by LTI, Ltd. of Hungary in combination with SunMaster® here in the USA. It is more than new, it is stronger, better tanning and has a longer life than old fashioned tanning lamps. It is a completely different kind of tanning lamp technology, which makes comparing it to other lamps difficult, even other SunMaster lamps.|
For starters, ClearTech lamps use a completely different glass. Regular tanning lamps use the same glass found in your office lights. These are made in glass factories, and some of the tubes become office lights, others become tanning lights. This old glass was never intended for tanning lamps, so they block a large portion of the UV. ClearTech tanning lamps use a special glass that is found in no other tanning bulb. It is more transparent to UV, so more of the UV escapes. It produces more UV and a wider spectrum, making them more sun-like. This means your skin turns brown, not orange.
These aren't your mother's tanning lamps. Don't just replace your lamps, upgrade to modern technology. To take advantage of this new glass, we created a new blend of phosphors which produce a completely different spectrum than regular lamps. They are noticeably brighter and deliver more UV per watt than any other tanning lamp ever made. The initial response from salon owners was so strong that we went through 6 months worth of inventory in less than 1 month. To say that they were impressed would be an understatement. You can read what a few had to say here.
In short, ClearTech technology makes lamps last up to 1600 hours at maximum output. A ClearTech with 2000 hours on it will still produce more UVA and UVB than a regular lamp. While they cost more than regular lamps, they cost less PER SESSION, so they represent a smart choice for salon owners who are interested in the total cost of running their salon. The intense bronzing action will also insure that your clients are completely pleased, on the first or 1400th hour of lamp life. If you try them, you will never go back to generic replacements again.
100W EHO™(Extra High Output) lamp in F59, F71, F72 and F73 sizes. Designed to be legally compatible with the most common HO (high output) Wolff® lamps, and suitable for replacement in all regulated states. High UVB, yet more UVA than even regular RUVA lamps. In a 24-32 lamp bed, will actually time out in the 15 minute area, even though they are compatible with 20 minute beds. Initial tests show lifespan to be at least 1400 hours, and up to 1600 hours, depending on electronics used.
100W to 120W RUVA lamp in F71 size. It is a "hot rodded" version of the ClearTech 20, using the same phosphors but different internals. RUVA (built in reflector) in each lamp, 180 degrees, so it can be used in most beds with as few as 24 lamps. Designed with a cathode/anode set that will perform equally well with 100W, 105W or 120W. Normal life is anticipated to be 1000 to 1100 hours for maximum output. Session times will be in the 10 to 15 minute range, without sacrificing UVA bronzing. The output on this lamp far exceeds any anticipated compatibility with any existing lamps, thus can't be used in regulated states unless the bed came with this lamp originally.
ClearTech lamps cost a little more, but with up to twice the life and 30% to 100% more total UV than generic lamps, they are the best value. New technology, new ideas, from SunMaster®.
Lamps with ClearTech technology look like regular lamps until they are turned on, then they glow a pleasant green.
