Shipping - General Information Shipping
rates shown are actual cost to ship your product at the time of calculation, and
are updated from time to time to compensate for the variable fuel costs to our
carriers. Some rates for higher weights may appear cheaper than lower weights, due
to discounts for poundage. Other variations on zones are due to averaging by state,
or are because they may be shipped via a different carrier. All items are sent fully
insured and guaranteed to arrive in working order, or we will replace or refund your
purchase price (at our option), assuming you have noted the damage with the carrier.
Shipping - Tanning Lamp Damages
You should always accept a tanning lamp package even if damaged, then call us at 1-800-274-1744 and
we will ship you replacement lamps immediately. Keep all the original packaging so
that UPS/FedEx can inspect. We can usually ship out replacement lamps within one business
day, and will do so at no expense to you. All shipments that are refused without
explanation or authorization will be charged the full price of transportation and a
restocking fee.
Shipping - Tanning Bed Damages
Tanning beds are handled a bit differently: You should always REFUSE a tanning bed if it is damage, then call us. We will make all arrangements including shipping a replacement. If your bed is damaged and you accept the shipment, it can not be shipped back and will have to be repaired in the field at your expense, which is why it is so important you inspect the system before accepting and signing.
Shipping Options (Overnight)
TanningLamps4Less will determine the best method for shipping your products. For
lamps, this is usually FedEx or UPS for orders of 72 or less. Overnight shipments
are discouraged as they have the highest incidence of damage, but they are available over
the phone. Be forewarned that the overnight shipment of lamps can quickly exceed $150 for
a single case of lamp, because they are oversized and overweight. This is the
carrier's charge, not ours. Again, we strongly discourage overnight shipment and in many
areas, it simply isn't available.
Shipping Returns (overview)
In the event a product is returned for any reason, customer is responsible for shipping
and handling costs (both ways), plus a fee if any packaging, parts or documentation is
missing. There is a restocking fee for certain items that are returned, and some
items can not be returned except for defect or damage in transit. Customer is
responsible for ensuring that all lamps are the correct size, wattage and type for their
tanning bed and will be responsible for all transportation and restocking fees if the
wrong lamps are ordered and shipped. Visit our Support
Area for our policies on returns and damage.
Note: Due to the risks of damage when shipping outside of the continental US, we will only cover the cost of the lamps for damaged shipments to AK, HI, Canada and any other location outside the 48 contiguous states. Customer will be responsible for all shipping costs for subsequent shipments in the event of damage.
